This research examines Muay Thai as a tool for helping migrant and refugee women reclaim agency and reconnect with personal aspirations after prolonged periods of displacement and structural exclusion. Drawing on SOMA's Spring 2026 program in Barcelona, it combines WHO-5 wellbeing surveys, trainer reflection diaries, and participant interviews to explore how embodied, strengths-based practice can respond to the "enforced waiting" migrants often face.
